About AI-Knowledge

AI-Knowledge is an independent online-journal dedicated to the field of artificial intelligence. It has been published by FH-Prof. Dr. Dieter Christian since September 2025. The journal’s mission is to make AI-knowledge available to companies, professionals, and all individuals interested in artificial intelligence in the form of high-quality, didactically accessible articles. It is completely free of charge.

AI-Knowledge covers a broad range of topics. Two of its core sections are “AI & Business” and “AI & Sustainability”, complemented by further categories such as Science & Technology, Society & Ethics, and Education. As AI increasingly influences every aspect of corporate operations — from taxation and finance to research, marketing, and organizational design — the journal aims to address this diversity with clarity and academic rigor.

All articles are written exclusively by distinguished experts who are either personally invited or approved by Prof. Christian. Authors include university professors sharing their research findings as well as practitioners implementing AI solutions in companies or advising clients on AI-related challenges.

AI-Knowledge is committed to a transparent editorial process, academic quality, and balanced perspectives. Each contribution undergoes an editorial review to ensure accuracy, relevance, clarity and understandability.

About the Founder and Publisher

FH-Prof. Dr. Mag. Dieter Christian has been teaching at universities since 2003. He currently lectures in IFRS and consolidation at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. He previously taught both in German and English at several institutions, including the Vienna University of Economics and Business. His academic work covers topics such as company valuation, tax law, Austrian GAAP, and financial instruments accounting under IFRS 9.

From 2003 to 2005, he served as a full-time research assistant at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where he also completed his doctoral thesis. Between 2007 and 2011, he headed the IFRS department at BDO Austria, the country’s fifth-largest auditing and tax consulting firm. From 2012 to 2019, he taught and conducted research at the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna, where he became a professor in 2015.

Prof. Christian has authored numerous articles in professional journals such as Praxis der Internationalen Rechnungslegung. He is also co-author of both the German and English editions of the book IFRS Essentials. Additionally, he has contributed to several commentaries on IFRS and Austrian GAAP.

Since 2016, Prof. Christian has organized conferences on IFRS, sustainability reporting, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. Each conference features presentations by 15–30 experts, resulting in broad perspectives, diverse opinions, and extensive opportunities for professional networking and academic exchange.
